Fermi paradox for me is a great example of a "truth standing on its head to attract attention"!
did some cosmology research at college and did enough studies in the inflationary model of the universe; one response to this paradox is "the universe only reached optimal density for life-bearing planets VERY recently on the cosmic scale"
changes a number of the assumptions in the equation underlying the paradox, enough to say "oh wow, maybe we really are the first. or one of the first..."
I love Zeno's Paradoxes - in particular the dichotomy paradox (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zeno%27s_paradoxes)
All about summing infinite sequences, really
Yeah, I like that one. I also love Fermi's Paradox, but neglected to inlcude it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fermi_paradox
